Nick Haynes,  the pre owned sales manager at Mitsubishi Motors East Rand showrooms, has three  new pre facelift 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class models for you to look at.

The closer is that by calling him on 011 841 7400 or 072 613 0757, you can save yourself a huge amount of money, and  won’t have to wait months for your car.

The cars have  less than 100 kilometres on the clock and come with the full balance of their six year/120 000 kilometre MobiloDrive plan in place, but are selling at pre owned prices.

HOT LOOKER

There is a hot looking Silver C 200 CGI BlueEfficiency unit that comes with the full AMG Pack, AvantGarde Spec, Intelligent Lighting, Park Tronic and a Sun Roof, and can be yours for only R399 900.

The second C 200 CGI is finished in grey and comes in Elegance Spec with a foldaway tow bar and is going for only R349 900.

The third car is a C 220 CDI also in BlueEFFICIENCY spec, along with the AvantGarde Pack and Park Tronic selling at R379 900.

These cars all received substantial upgrades in 2010.
The C 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY model features a four-cylinder turbo-charged engine with direct petrol injection  to make the car even more responsive than their outgoing counterparts.

Thanks to its BlueEFFICIENCY technology, the Mercedes-Benz C Class takes efficiency and driving enjoyment to new levels.

The C 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY model has a displacement of 1.8 litres and an output of 135 kW yet consumes a mere claimed 6.8 litres of premium unleaded petrol per 100 kilometres.
Despite the lower fuel consumption, the peak torque has been increased from 250 Nm to 270 Nm, enabling the new C 200 CGI to complete the sprint from a claimed 0-100 km/h in 8.2 seconds.

The C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY marks the introduction of a brand new generation four-cylinder, twin-turbo diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz.

This engine outstrips all previous benchmarks for performance, torque, emission properties and, most notably, fuel economy in its segment.

The technical advance which the design engineers at Mercedes-Benz have achieved with this new four-cylinder, twin-turbo diesel is not only evident on paper.
Its effects can also be experienced to an intense degree behind the wheel.

As far as the figures are concerned, the C 220 CDI produces 125 kW at 3 200 - 4 800 rpm and 400 Nm at 1 400 - 2 800 rpm.

The engineers also took care to ensure the new diesel engine is a paragon of fuel efficiency. In spite of the substantial power boost, the engine makes even more frugal use of diesel than its predecessor, with a claimed number of just 5.8 litres of diesel per 100 kilometres.

You are able to appreciate the advances that have been made immediately. The new drive unit has a powerful feel to it, its response is agile, it delights with its tremendous pulling power and impresses with admirable levels of smoothness for a four-cylinder engine.

STANDSTILL

It enables Mecesdes-Benz to claim that the C-Class sedan can get from standstill to 100 km/h in a mere 7.7 seconds.

The new drive units also boast  a markedly superior torque build-up from low revs compared to the engines it replaces. This is along with a class-beating torque characteristic curve.
This means that the engine can be run extremely economically at low rev speeds in routine driving situations.

As well as an exciting design and hallmark Mercedes-Benz refinement, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class offers state-of-the-art technology such as the Intelligent Light System with five different lighting functions.

Standard features include the PRE-SAFE system with anticipatory occupant-protection measures.

BlueEFFICIENCY in turn means that  you have a package that was compiled by development engineers across all disciplines.
The main aim was to reduce weight, aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance to further optimise the engine technology and to make on-board energy management  more efficient.

The best part might be  that local independent studies confirm that the C-Class has the highest resale value in the medium-size category.
