Heading up the day’s action will be V8 Thunder Sprint Car racing, with some 10 of the monster vehicles in action.

There will also be races for Micro Midget Karts, Mini Stox, 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Saloons, Pinto Saloons, Formula 2 Midgets, Retro Rods and Formula N circuit cars.

The gates will open at noon, with racing to start at 4pm.

Gate admission to the venue is R50 per adult and R20 per child between the ages of six and 12.

Food and drink will be on sale and the main grandstand will be heated if it gets cold.
