Liza Minelli made sure of that in the movie version back in the ’70s after the show finally completed its 1 165-performance run on Broadway during the ’60s.

And now four decades later Samantha Peo has brought Sally Bowles to life on local soil. And boy, is she doing the part justice – the girl has a set of pipes on her... and she can act! Speaking of casino floors and luck, this weekend sees the tenth Sun International Black Diamond Blackjack tournament finals take place at Sun City on Saturday, June 23.

There also will be a Last Chance Draw at 7.45pm on Friday, June 22 followed by the Last Chance Heat at 8pm so, there’s a good  excuse  to get away for the weekend.
