3. Competition closes at midnight on 9 September 2011

4. 10 Finalists will be drawn on 12 September 2011

5. All finalists will be informed telephonically on 12 September 2011

6. Finalists must be present on 24 September 2011 at Vaal Riverside Race course to qualify for a prize.

7. The amazing prizes up for grabs are:

2^nd Prize: 3D LED TV plus Home entertainment system

3^rd Prize: A weekend getaway at Emerald Resort & Casino to the value of R10 000

4^th to 10^th prize will be consolation prizes.

Each finalist with a partner will receive a VIP Emerald Race Day Experience at the Ascot Room overlooking the Vaal Race Course.

8. Prizes are not transferable, negotiable or redeemable for cash. Getaway prizes are subject to availability, excluding public holidays.

9. Neither The Citizen or any of it’s sponsors, affiliates and agencies, nor their employees, accepts any liability for any:

*Oversight, ambiguity, error or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, which any of its employees, agents, affiliates or sponsors may commit in the running of the competition and the awarding of the prizes.

*Injuries, losses or damage sustained as a result of the use of the prize or participation in the competition.

Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.

10. Any expenses incurred by winner, not detailed in the above prize list will be for the winner’s own account.

11. The winner must hold a valid South African ID.

12. The winner of the 2^nd prize must have a valid TV license to redeem his/her gift.
