  1. Cost per sms is R1.50. Errors will be charged. Free SMSs and minutes do not apply.

  2. The Competition period is 20 September – 13 October 2011.

  3. The Citizen will publish eight competition keywords during the competition period; one finalist will be drawn from each competition keyword.

  4. Each finalist will be informed telephonically the day after the relevant competition keyword closes.

  5. The main prize of the competition is a Nissan Micra Visia+ valued at R119 500.

  6. Finalists must be present in person on Sunday, 16 October 2011 at the Johannesburg International Motor Show at the Johannesburg International Expo Centre, Nasrec to participate in the draw for the main prize.

  7. An independent auditor will be present during the main prize draw to ensure

that the process is fair to all finalists.

  1. Finalists need to be in possession of a valid driver’s licence and South African ID to qualify as a finalist in the competition; failure to produce this will disqualify the finalist from the draw and a replacement will be drawn.

  2. Prizes are not transferable, negotiable or redeemable for cash.

  3. The colour of the Nissan Micra may differ from the illustration in the competition advertisements.

  4. Neither The Citizen nor any of its sponsors, affiliates and agencies, nor their employees, accepts any liability for any:

  • Oversight, ambiguity, error or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, which any of its employees, agents, affiliates or sponsors may commit in the running of the competition and the awarding of the prizes.

  • Injuries, losses or damage sustained as a result of the use of the prize or participation in the competition.

  2. As a finalist or winner of this competition you agree to your information and photo to be used for marketing purposes by The Citizen and the competition sponsors.

  3. Any expenses incurred by the finalists and the winner that have not been detailed in the above will be for each finalist and the winner’s own account.

  4. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
