Hunt adds new

Mdledle joined SuperSport United on a two-year deal after he was released by city rivals Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this week.
Mdlele is not the only piece to complete Hunt’s puzzle, former centre back for Israeli-side Hapoel Tel Aviv, Bevan Fransman, expressed delight at joining the Tshwane outfit.
“I am just here to assist the team to win trophies, and with the type of squad we have, I think we have the capability of taking the league this season,” said Fransman
“I hope my contribution will be good enough to move the team back to the top and I hope that we will have a successful up-coming season.”
Former Ajax Cape Town midfielder, George Maluleka, will also be part of Matsatsatsantsa a Pitori going into the new season.
“I think this season will be tougher because there will be a lot of competition,” Maluleka conceded.
“It will lift my game, but if I work hard, I may end up playing in the national squad as well. Yes I will miss my days at Ajax, but now that I am here I will have to do my work and do it properly.”
Quizzed about his ambitions for the team in the next season, Hunt made no firm predictions: “Whenever you make new signings, the goal is to improve what you had before, the results will prove that we made the right investments.
“I always sign players who win things, but I don’t want to win any trophies or anything. I want to win the next game. If we win the next game that’s the most important thing for me.
“That’s how we will operate.”
Three-time PSL champions Matsatsantsa a Pitori finished in third place last season but Hunt is optimistic that things will be different in the up-coming season.
“We will make sure that we improve and get a whole lot better in the next season,” he said.
Chippa United, who were promoted to the PSL after thrashing incumbents Santos, lost their bid to hold on to defender Roscoe Pietersen. Pietersen intimated that he is only planning to up his game and to become a valuable asset to Matsatsantsa.
Former Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Ronald Mahlaka and Clifford Mulenga are also part of Hunt’s soldiers.
