Sad day for gers

One hundred and forty years of Scottish pride has gone down the drain.

With Rangers being demoted to the Third Division in Scotland, how will the top-flight of Scottish football cope with this giant of the game being taken out?

But clearly this decision by the Scottish football authorities was a wrong one.  Don’t they realise that without Rangers and their Glasgow arch-rivals Celtic in the top-flight, the SPL is nothing.

This will surely cripple the SPL.

I’m convinced that with Rangers being  taken out of the top-flight, the hierarchy of  the game in Scotland can kiss TV revenues and sponsorship goodbye.

The authorities have got themselves in a complete mess.

I will have to watch the English now.
