His recent comment that “great strides have been made in education” is even more ridiculous than Jacob Zuma’s idiotic Verwoerd theory.

The whole of South Africa knows that education in this country is in absolute shambles. Apparently, he hasn’t realised it yet.

What does he base his comment on? Give us some facts and figures.

He, too, tries to blame apartheid for the gross incompetence of the ANC government. It doesn’t wash anymore.

In 18 years of ineffective rule the ANC has changed the system continually and has failed dismally on all accounts. The reason: it hasn’t got a clue what it’s doing.

It is no wonder that South Africa is in the quagmire it’s in with people like Phosa at the helm.
