Decorum, darlings

As the annual “gay pride” parade can’t be far off, may I please make an appeal to my fellow gay brethren and sisters.

My plea is that when a few hundred gay men march through the streets, they should make this a  dignified display and  that  decorum is the order of the day.

Instead of carnival costumes, feather boas and bikinis, some of us must wear tennis togs,    old jeans, and  one or two should parade around in business suits.

The rest of the populace will then have it demonstrated to them that gay men and woman are responsible adults with a real pride in their life orientation and not just a bunch of  immature party-goers.

We are real people to be taken seriously should be the message.
