This as another cold front set to make its land fall in the Western Cape today, will be moving into the central parts of the country late tomorrow.

Speaking to The Citizen yesterday, forecaster at the South African Weather Service Karl Loots said the significant weather system will be moving fast this time around.

Johannesburg and Pretoria are set to reach highs of 13 and 15°C, respectively on Sunday.
Loots also called on residents and motorists alike in the Eastern and the Western Cape to be on high alert again this weekend as the front is set to bring along heavy rain and snowfalls.

The better part of South Africa was covered under a blanket of snow earlier this week. Roads had to be closed in the most affected areas of the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape.
Two people died and two others were reported missing on Wednesday as severe rain and snowfall  resulted in several rescue operations countrywide.

A homeless man in his fifties died on Wednesday of apparent hypothermia in Westville, KwaZulu-Natal, ER24  spokesman Derrick Banks said.
