Plant and machinery equipment up for grabs

ON July 24, a large collection of plant and machinery equipment will be made available to the public by Park Village Auctions at two separate auctions.

The first lot of plant and equipment to be auctioned arises from the liquidation of Claude Neon, a well-established signage business. This auction will commence at 10.30am at 89 Main Reef Road, Langlaagte, Johannesburg. Viewing will take place the day before from 10am to 3pm. All assets will be sold piece meal.

Stock to go under the hammer includes a spray booth, a drying chamber, a fume extractor and convey tracks, a Demag five- ton electronic overhead travelling crane, various Gerber Sabre 408 CNC routing machines, an advantage router 600 machine, a Ceccato eight bar compressor with receiver, a tank and air drier, a Durr curing oven with travelling gantry and blowing fans.

A CP engineering special purpose hydraulic, a clamping/moulding press, various table saws, a twin head pedestal sanding disc, various vertical band saws, a Reichman double head pedestal polishing machine, an overhead router, a Robland Z320 panel saw, various purpose built plastic vinyl moulding machines, a Pooley 525kg platform scale, a Rockwell vertical jigsaw and a Pear pantograph will also be auctioned.

Other items which will be auctioned on the day include an assortment of Arc and CO2 welders, pedestal drilling machines, an assortment of circular cutting saws, an Exactility hydraulic press brake (65-ton x 2500mm), various technical mechanical guillotines (2400mm x 4mm and 3000mm x 3mm) an assortment of plate rollers, a Procam hydraulic press brake (50 ton x 2500mm) pan and box folders.

Paul Lendia of PVA adds that a large assortment of aluminium and steel tubing, channelling, flat sheets, flat bar, scrap steel, vinyl rolls, handy angle shelving, work benches, office equipment including desks, chairs, printers and pc's will also be sold to the highest bidder on the day.

The second sizeable lot of machinery and equipment to come to market on the 24th will be auctioned at Midrand Diesel on the corner of the Reedbuck Crescent and Bushbuck Close corporate park in Midrand which lies just off the old Johannesburg Road. This lot will be auctioned at 10.30am.

Again, all assets will be sold piecemeal and some assets will be auctioned simultaneously via PVA’s online bidding site. Viewing will take place on the 23rd from 10am to 3pm.

Stock to be auctioned in Midrand includes a Bosch emission tester, post lifts, an AHS brake tester, a hyper power 4 wheel dynamometer, a Karcher cleaner, a Wetrok floor cleaner, an Ingersol Rand SSR compressor, Bosch EPS diesel test benches, an Asnue petrol injector tester, an Amptron electrical test bench, Hartridge HM1050 HP pumps, Bosch EDC governers and a Hartridge test bench including test equipment.

Various test benches, VRZ-COV EC Zexel, Bosch CAM847 cambox, Safrele 50KVA Genset, Lin-Haunbech lathe, new and used reconditioned stock of diesel pumps, alternators and turbo chargers, containers, executive office furniture and equipment will also go under the hammer alongside a large assortment of VW, Nissan, Isuzu and Ford LDV’S.
