Tomorrow its Cape Town branch gets cracking at 11am with a big-time bonanza-type boot sale that features toddlers’ toys and baby accessories, scales and sealers, carpets, office and household furniture, cookware sets, kitchen appliances and crockery.

“Whether you need it or want it or don’t know either way, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what this sale has to offer. Volume and variety, and some serendipity mixed into this sale, certainly is the name of the game at this one!” says Chico da Silva, Consolidated’s managing member.

The “lotsa loose assets auction” in Cape Town starts at 11am and will be held at 46 Milner Road in Metro
Industria, the premises of Consolidated Cape Town.

Much closer to home, at the company's nerve centre in Germiston, heavy haulage bidders will be spoiled for choice at a trucking and transport fleet auction.

At this sale Consolidated’s main branch will play host to a massive amount of heavy-lots from major manufacturers.

At least 90 mechanical horses will be made available including MAN, Toyota, Nissan 6x4 and 4x2 horses.  From the same names but including Mercedes-Benz and Hino, Da Silva will also sell 50 rigid trucks and volume vans.

Adding to the huge volume of assets from single categories are 80 double and single-axle beverage trailers, about 50 forklifts by Linde, Toyota and Nissan, ride0on sweepers, some 30 LDVs and about 100 cars.

One item that has standout appeal is the LMI 80-ton weight bridge.

The auction on  July 31 will be  at 10 President Street in Germiston.
