Good.

Maybe   we’ll get some answers. Absa chief executive Maria Ramos might be able to help.

The allegation has been made that Ramos dismissed Phiyega from Transnet for incompetence.

Phiyega then moved to Absa, but left  when Ramos was appointed.

Now the DA’s   Dianne Kohler-Barnard  has written to  Police Portfolio Committee chairman   Annelize van Wyk asking that Phiyega be called to answer questions about her employment history.

Kohler-Barnard points out that Phiyega left  Transnet and Absa without fulfilling her employment contracts:

“Did she leave of her own accord or was she paid out? Are we going to see her vacate her position as  police commissioner within a year?

This would hardly contribute towards stability in the SAPS.”

Incredibly, Phiyega is also already being accused of a possible conflict of commercial interest.

Is there a parable or obscure riddle to hand? You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know when to  fire?
