Fallout from the protracted Cricket South Africa (CSA) bonus scandal continues,  with acting chief executive Jacques Faul resigning and then reconsidering.

What a circus of instability. Faul cited alleged hostility from board members, some of  whom he accused of trying to discredit him.

A bone of contention, reportedly, is a meeting with former CSA board member, Paul Harris.

He’s one of those who raised the alarm over bonuses to former chief executive Gerald Majola and friends. Harris is a director of Momentum, who announced a big new cricket  sponsorship recently.

Some board members are apparently unhappy with the Harris link. No wonder, his whistle-blowing contributed to plans to reshape the top structures, which means many of them could lose their perks.

This has gone on too long. CSA must wrap it up  so fans and players can focus on cricket.
