Long drive to luxury
15 July 2012 | The Citizen
Comrade Blade Nzimande, general secretary of the SA Communist Party, believes that the correct car is a Series 7 BMW worth R1.1 million.
According to Comrade Zwelinzima Vavi of Cosatu, the “average black man” earns about R2 400 a month. So Nzimande’s car is worth the total salaries of the average black man for 38 years.
Comrade Tony Yengeni, who was one of the authors of the ANC policy document for the “second transition” to socialism, believes the true revolutionary should drive a Maserati (about R1.5 million). He was recently fined in his because it had no number plates.
Comrade Julius Malema, working class hero, champion of the poor, believes those in the vanguard of the revolution, like himself, should drive gleaming new Range Rovers or Mercedes Benzes.
The ANC is now planning the road for the “second transition” to bring about true socialism, which will likely mean even more expensive imported cars for the revolutionary elite.
How the toiling masses and unemployed multitudes will clap and cheer as their revolutionary comrade leaders drive past in their new Porsches and Rolls Royces!
