WATCHES: 1. Very rough seas with wave heights from 4 to 6m is expected between Lamberts Bay and East London spraeding to Prt Edward on Saturday moderating from the west on Sunday. 2. Very cold conditions are expected over the southern high ground of the Northern Cape as well as the south-western high ground of the Eastern Cape.

ADVISORIES:

1. A gale force NW/W`ly wind (35kt OR 65KM/H) is expected between Cape Point and Port Alfred on Thursday.

2. Heavy rainfall is possible in the Cape Metropole, Cape Winelands and the Overberg District on Thursday extending into Friday.

3. Very cold conditions expected over the high ground of the Western and Northern Cape on Thursday extending to the northern high ground of the Eastern Cape on Saturday.
