WARNINGS: Very rough seas with wave height in excess of 4m is expected between Lamberts Bay and East London Monday, spreading to Cape St Lucia on Tuesday and Wednesday, moderating from the west. Very cold, wet and windy conditions are expected over the Southern parts of the Northern Cape, high ground of the Western Cape, the interior of the Eastern Cape, southern Free State on Monday, spreading to the Western high ground of KwaZulu-Natal and South-Eastern Free State on Tuesday and persisting into Wednesday When it will warm from the West. Heavy rainfall is expected along the Coast and adjacent interior between Cape Agulhas and Port Elizabeth Monday into Tuesday and in Southern KwaZulu-Natal on monday. Snowfall is expected over the Southern mountains and high ground of the Western and Eastern Cape, Southern high ground of the Northern Cape, Southern Free State and Western high ground of KwaZulu-Natal between Monday and Wednesday morning.

Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers at first.

Cold in places in the south-west, otherwise partly cloudy, and cool but warm to hot in the lowveld. Isolated showers are possible except in the north-east.

The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly.
 
WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold to very cold with rain but widsespread showers and  thundershowers along the south coast and adjacent interior. Snowfalls are expected on the high ground.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly.

Expected UVB Index: Low.
 
EASTERN CAPE

Cloudy and cold but very cold over the interior with scattered showers and thundershowers. Snowfalls are expected over the high ground.

The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly becoming fresh.
 
KWAZULU-NATAL

Partly cloudy and cool, but cold over the southern interior. It will become clouy with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the south.

The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly in the north at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.

Expected UVB index: Moderate.
 
NAMIBIA

Cool along the coast and fine and cold in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.
