Durban hosts men’s health forum

Durban hosts men’s health forum

THE Y Factor, a health forum for men over 40, is taking place in Durban on Thursday, July 16 at the International Convention Centre.

This forum, sponsored by Lilly and at no cost to delegates, will aim to provide the answers to some very important health and wellness concerns.

Due to the success of these workshops which have already taken place in Bloemfontein and Johannesburg, other workshops are also planned for Cape Town on August 22 and Pretoria in October.

Men are invited to take advantage of the complimentary health screening tests. Thereafter, discussions will be hosted by local healthcare experts, with topics being covered including stress, cardiovascular health risks, prostate problems, diabetes, hypertension, erectile dysfunction and obesity.

Guest speaker for the evening in Durban will be Jonty Rhodes who will be presenting “The Full Jonty”. Rhodes will share insights and examples from his cricketing career and more about the legacy he has created.

Men who would like to secure their place at The Y Factor Forum can SMS HEALTH, their full name and age to 33009. A response SMS will serve as confirmation of their attendance. There is no entrance fee to this event but registration is essential.
