Events organisers called to submit applications before elections week

The City of Ekurhuleni's SASREA committee will cease operations on May 27 and resume on June 5.

The City of Ekurhuleni’s (CoE) Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act (SASREA) committee is calling on event organisers, companies and individuals who wish to host events in the city during the week of elections to submit their applications on or before May 21.

The city’s SASREA committee sits every Wednesday to accept event applications.

The office will be closed from May 27 to 31 to attend to election duties around the city. Operations will resume on June 5.
