SAPS function to thank members
Last year December 18, 2013 SAPS Alberton rewarded members who did not book off sick for the entire year and the reservists who are committed to serve and protect the community even when they do not receive remuneration.
ALBERTON – The reservists were thanked with certificates and grocery gifts that were donated by Alberton Makro through Alberton CPF, while members who did not book off sick received certificates.
Sergeant Nkuna was one of the recipients of the certificates for not booking off sick ever since he joined the SAPS 11 years ago.
The Station Commander, Acting Station Commander, Reservist Commander and the Chairperson of CPF presented the gifts and the certificates while Employee Health and Wellness from Germiston cluster informed members about their services after the function was approved by the acting cluster.
