Awareness campaign addresses GBV

Different stakeholders came together to host a Gender-Based violence campaign just recently.

Several people joined hands to tackle GBV through an awareness campaign held at Kliprivier SAPS.

Various stakeholders including the Department of Community Safety, Midvaal Municipality, local SAPS, Alpha Trauma Centre, a local ward councillor and businesses came on board to support the event.

The awareness campaign commenced with a march to the police station followed by a jam-packed programme with various speakers addressing the community about GBV.

Sergeant Tintswalo Ndhambi of Kliprivier SAPS reiterated that their station commander takes the involvement of the community as a priority to win the fight against crime.
