Award-winning musician seeks community support for fundraiser to aid disadvantaged residents

Haksul Muziq pleads with the community and those who can help him provide essential items for individuals who are faced with hard times.

In a heartfelt initiative to support residents in need, award-winning musician Haksul Muziq is gearing up to host a community fundraising event on November 1 at Eden Ridge Primary School.

To raise essential supplies for disadvantaged families, the event promises a day filled with entertainment and community spirit.

Having recently garnered accolades for his outstanding contributions to the local music industry, Tokoloho Mavuso, popularly known as Haksul Musiq, is now turning his talents towards a cause close to his heart.

He said that he has always believed in the power of music to bring people together, and now he wants to harness that power to help those who are struggling in the community.

The fundraiser will feature a variety of local performances, including live music, dance acts, and guest appearances.

One of the day’s highlights will be the crowning of Mr and Miss/Mrs Eden Park Primary, a fun and engaging contest.

To participate in this worthwhile event, attendees are asked to pay an entry fee (R20 learners and R50 adults), which will go directly towards providing essential items such as food, clothing, and hygiene products for local needy residents.

“We want everyone in our community to feel supported and valued. This event is not just about raising funds; it’s about coming together as a community to show that we care for one another.”

The event will take place from 09:00 to 14:00, and no alcohol is allowed.

Locals or businesses are encouraged to contribute by donating or sponsoring the event.

“Whether you can donate, participate, or simply spread the word, your involvement can make a real difference in someone’s life,” the local artist said.
