Tuckshop robbed of cash, cigarettes, phone

ALEXANDRA – Robbers pounce on tuckshop owner offloading stock.


An unknown number of men are wanted by the Alexandra Police Station for the armed robbery of a tuckshop owner.

Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji said a 22-year-old victim was robbed at 9.30am on 24 January as he was offloading stock into the shop. They took R3 000 in cash, cigarettes worth R160 and a cell phone of R1 000 before fleeing the scene.
