Bedfordview to be affected by planned power outage on February 23

Bedfordview residents are warned of a planned power outage scheduled for Sunday (February 23).

According to the City of Ekurhuleni the outage, which will last from 08:00 to 14:00, is due to routine maintenance work being carried out by Eskom’s technicians at the Croydon substation.

The maintenance will result in a power interruption across the entire Bedfordview area.

The city has advised residents to treat all electrical networks as live during the maintenance period to ensure safety.
