Police are still searching for three suspects involved in a house robbery at Norton Park Retirement Village, in Brentwood Park, on February 22.
“The victim said she and her husband were asleep when she was awoken by the door banging at around 1.30am,” said Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele.

“According to the victim, all the doors were locks and windows closed before they went to bed.”
After being awoken by the sound, the victim walked towards the noise and was confronted by the suspects.
“The suspects told her to be quiet, took her back to her room and tied the couple up,” Sekele explained.
“One of the armed suspects stood guard over the victims as the other two ransacked the house.”
An undisclosed amount of cash, a laptop, camera and two cellphones were stolen.
“The case is still under investigation,” Sekele said.
