VINTAGE Motion Picturess in partnership with the Junior Filmmakers Club will be holding a filmmakers workshop during the December school holidays. The first group of children who attended the September workshop will move on to level 2 with new activities. Level one will be offered to children who are new to the workshop.
The workshop will run from 9 – 13 December from 8am until 3pm at Pinetown Girls’ High School Loggenberg Theatre. The cost is R500.
The Junior Filmmakers Club will run a competition for talented young filmmakers. Children between the ages of 10 and 16 are encouraged to write and submit a creative five-minute script for their own original film. The child with the best script will get to complete workshop level one free of charge. To enter, email your script to gareth@juniorfilmmakers.co.za by Friday 29 November.
