Gruesome find next to road

After a deceased man was found beside the R559 road, police are now looking for anyone who might have more information to help solve this matter.

Last week Wednesday, bystanders discovered the body of an African male lying beside the road, commonly known as the Bank Road, just outside Carletonville.

Upon their arrival, police members found an unknown and unresponsive man. A preliminary investigation revealed that he was shot.

He had open wounds on his upper body and left leg. As no cartridges were found at the scene police suspect that the man’s body had, most probably, been dumped there.
