The West Rand Arts Festival is an umbrella concept that includes cultural, musical, craft and entrepreneurial
offerings and projects for the community of Carletonville, Merafong City and West Rand as a whole. It aims to grow
those involved in these fields and give them a platform to do greater things beyond the borders they may currently
find themselves restricted to. The initiative also aims to address socio-economic issues within these communities and try to find strategic ways to combat them instead of moving away from them. For more information, contact Peter on 083 585 5551 or Deekay on 079 057 9337.
