Burglars got very little for their effort when they broke into two Gr. R classrooms at Mbulelo Primary School in Khutsong. Staff and learners arrived at the school on the morning of Monday 18 April to find the windows of the classrooms had been broken. It is uncertain when the incident oc- curred and if the suspects entered through the windows or the door. They also attempted to break into a Grade 1 classroom and the kitchen. Both doors had been tampered with. It has emerged that there were no security guards pre- sent at the time of the break-in. The suspects fled with classroom items like a tissue box, tape, marking pens, highlighters and a box of pens were stolen. No one has been arrested.
