Son searching for dad after two decades

A 32-year-old man from Mpumalanga is asking the community to help him find his father whom he hasn’t seen for twenty years. Jabulani Moses Vilane says his father, Elijah Petros Vilane, is known to be working at Gold Fields in the Carletonville area. While he was living in Mpumalanga, he says, his father used to come and visit him and other family members during the December holidays. The last time Jabulani saw him or had contact with him was in 1996. Things have not been going well for Jabulani since his father left. He struggles to hold down a job and he believes it is because he has not seen him for so long. Jabulani has tried to involve the police in finding his father without success.
