Carletonville Mall’s bumper Springfest/bridge celebration on 29 October was a resounding success. The event included a big carnival and big acts that came to perform. It attracted audiences from all over Carletonville and surrounding areas. It started with a 5.6 km fun run at 08:00 that started and ended at the mall. The show then proceeded to the main stage with local artist such as Mbulelelo,Tumi G Da Ceo along Decent Kay, Wes Guz, and Vaya Kasi (dance group) going first and some later such as Vibration Taylor performed with the main acts who pulled the crowd on the day. The crowd was entertained by the likes of Bricks, Mapaputsi, Nkiyase, Nokwazi and Tina on the stage. The marketing manager promised that Carletonville Mall would be hosting more events like this in future and that the shopping complex would support local artists.
