A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left critically injured this afternoon when he slammed into a light motor vehicle at Pierneef Road in Pretoria.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find another service already in attendance.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he was in a critical condition, having sustained numerous injuries.
Treatment and advanced life support intervention were immediately initiated before the patient was transported to Mediclinic Muelmed for further treatment.
The two occupants from the light motor vehicle were assessed and found to have escaped injury.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
