Nine people were left injured this morning when a taxi and bakkie collided, causing the taxi to roll multiple times on the Rand Airport Road in Germiston.
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene at approximately 06h45 after receiving reports of numerous patients on the scene.
On arrival, paramedics found the taxi on the sidewalk while the bakkie had come to a stop on the opposite side of the road.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that a total of nine had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
The details surrounding the collision are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
