Nine people were left injured late Saturday night following a three-vehicle collision on the R559 outside of Carletonville.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the three vehicles in the middle of the road, several people were found walking around on the scene.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that a total of nine patients had sustained moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to various provincial hospitals for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
