According to the communications officer of the Fochville SAPS, Const. Elsie Tshonte, they received a tip-off. Two members of the West Rand K9 unit, Sgt John Jones and Const. Albertus Venter went to the alleged suspect’s house in Greenspark at around 10:02 on Tuesday. Upon searching the house, they discovered seven tubes of the commercial explosive Emex 70 Powergel.
The 35-year-old suspect was immediately arrested.
