The police in Carletonville are looking for this man in connection with sexual assault.
According to the communication officer of the police in Carletonville, WO Peter Masooa, the victim was on her way home from Carletonville Hospital when she realized there is a man following her.
He caught up with her and then suddenly grabbed the woman and started to strangle her. The man dragged her into the bushes and wanted to undress her.
He luckily started to think twice when she started screaming. He then grabbed her bag and ran away. Other people street had heard her screams and also started pursuing the suspect.
The woman also flagged down a passing police van and told them what had happened. The police then also started to race after the suspect.
The thug however changed his T-shirt while running and disappeared into a group of people.
The woman immediately went to the police to open a case.
