However, when she got up and started walking through her house at 05:55, she immediately saw that something was amiss. Her Lenovo laptop, worth R5,000, was not on the dining room table where she had left it the night before. At first, she thought her husband had put it away, but she got another shock when she proceeded to her dining room. Here, she noticed that her Sony plasma television, worth R4,500 had also disappeared. She soon realised that the window to this room had been forced open, giving the burglars access to the home.
