According to the Carletonville police, the latest incident happened on the night of 31 August.
Security guards were on duty at Merafong Flora, the government flower farm. Suddenly, a group of eight to 10 Sotho-speaking men stormed up to them.
The thugs pulled out firearms, pointed them at the guards and tied them up.
The criminals dug up a cable at the facility and fled with it.
