Woman dies on the scene after being hit by a car on the N12

An unidentified woman died after being hit by a VW golf R on the N12  in Potchefstroom  last night (6 November) at about 23:05.

According to Police spokesperson, Col. Amanda Funani after the woman was hit by the Golf another vehicle allegedly drove over the victim while she was on the ground.  Col. Funani comfirmed that the Potchefstroom Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide and says no arrests have been made at this stage. “The driver of the golf was transported to hospital to be treated for shock,” she said.
