The police in Carletonville are investigating an attempted murder case following an incident over the past weekend.

This crime took place in East Driefontein on Saturday at 22:30.

The victim (44) was walking in East Park Crescent when two unknown men walked up to him.

“Give us your money,” the thugs demanded.

Before the man could react, the thugs shot him in his stomach.

The thugs then grabbed valuables and ran away.
