Man gunned down in Blyvooruitzicht: Suspect arrested two days later

A resident of Blyvooruitzicht Block 8 was murdered on November 7.

A victim of the informal area went to a tuck shop at approximately 20:00. The man, a 41-year-old Lesotho national, was standing at the shop when another man approached him from behind.

The assailant shot him several times before running away.

Thanks to the good work of a Carletonville detective, Warrant-Officer Claudia Buthelezi, the suspect was arrested two days later.

The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
