Rising star from Merafong making waves in SA Hip-Hop

His hard work is paying off.

One of Merafong’s hardworking artists, Vibration Taylor, is on the roll as he has been actively pursuing his career.

The artist attended the biggest Hip-Hop festival in Africa, the Back to the City Hip-Hop Festival, which took place recently in Johannesburg. The organisers of the event sponsored him with free tickets to experience the best of SA Hip-Hop so that he could be inspired and motivated. The artist is building his name and establishing his brand in the South African music industry.

During the festival, the artist was fortunate enough to receive an opportunity to be interviewed by SA Hip-Hop queen, Gigi Laymane on the Made in Mzansi platform. This was after attending a music business master class with another SA Hip-Hop queen, Nadia Nakai, who performed during the festival. The artist’s dreams are slowly coming true as he has been exposed to many local superstars. He is also sponsored by AMPD Studios in collaboration with South African network provider, MTN. He has free access to professional recording at state-of-the-art studios based in Newtown, Johannesburg.

He aims to fly the flag of Merafong high and is determined to put his township as well as hometown on the map through his work and career. This is to inspire the young and up-coming artists from disadvantaged environments. He will be officially launching his clothing brand soon and will be releasing a new single titled Mjololo on all digital platforms. He will be promoting the song as well as shooting a new music video for the new song.

He will appreciate the support from his community. The artist also plans to host his own live performance shows throughout theatres across the entire country in order to solidify his name in the game. He can be contacted on all social media platforms: Vibration Taylor.
