Business in Kokosi at Fochville also helps to alleviate hunger
They also want tp get other people involved in the action

Masakeng Premium Lounge, a new restaurant located in the heart of Kokosi, Fochville, has officially opened its doors to the community on November 3, 2024. The restaurant has quickly become a local favorite, receiving overwhelming support from the residents of Kokosi and surrounding areas.
The restaurant is the realisation of a long-held dream by Mr. Buti Moeketsane, better known by his affectionate nickname, Buti Molelle, or Bob T. Born on May 1, 1977, and raised in Kokosi, Mr. Moeketsane is not only a talented radio and television producer but also the owner of Wild Ox Productions, an advertising agency he established in 2014. With Masakeng Premium Lounge, Mr. Moeketsane sought to create more than just a space for great food; he wanted to give back to the community in a meaningful way.
In addition to offering a top-tier dining experience, the restaurant serves as a platform for addressing a pressing social issue: childhood hunger. Mr. Moeketsane’s commitment to helping children stems from a pivotal experience in his youth. As a child in the 1980s, he was inspired by a Portuguese man named Solly, who generously provided free bread to local children every Friday afternoon. This act of kindness left a lasting impact on Mr. Moeketsane, and he made it his mission to continue supporting children in need.
Masakeng Premium Lounge operates as a self-funded initiative, with proceeds from the restaurant being used to support the cause of alleviating childhood hunger. Alongside his dedicated staff and his trusted assistant, Reuben Shikwambana, Mr. Moeketsane has managed to extend this mission to provide food, clothing, and essential items to children in the community.
In a heartwarming display of solidarity, staff members from a local bank have also shown their support by volunteering to help distribute food to children when possible. Their contributions highlight the growing sense of community and the importance of coming together to make a difference.
Mr. Moeketsane is keen to collaborate with other local businesses and community members to expand the reach of this initiative. “We can all make a difference, and together, we can ensure that no child goes hungry,” he said.
For those who wish to contribute to this noble cause, whether through donations of food, clothing, blankets, or financial support, Mr. Moeketsane encourages them to reach out. You can contact him directly at 073 150 2010 for more information on how to get involved.
