A resident was kidnapped while walking down a street in Khutsong Extension 5 with his friends this week.

The 33-year-old man was walking with his two friends at about 22:00 on November 18. As they neared near Thandabanthu Tuck Shop three unknown men walked up to them.

One of the men pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the three friends.

They then grabbed the victim and forced him to walk toward the direction of Blyvooruitzicht with them.

The kidnappers called one of the friends the next day and demanded R300 000 for the victim’s release.

By printing time the kidnapped man has still not been found back.
