Huge Christmas Drive planned for Carletonville

Young and old will be able to join in the fun.

Gladiator Community Protection, law enforcement, local businesses, and the community are busy planning a Christmas celebration that will benefit the whole community.

Money collected from the celebration will be donated to the Carletonville SPCA, the SAVF Deurgangshuis in Carletonville, the Rotalia Centre, the Round Table and Solidariteit Helpende Hand. The much-anticipated event will take place on Friday, December 13.

The Carletonville area is planning to come alive with laughter and music. Santa will arrive at Pick n Pay at 11:30, and there will be face painting, presents for kids, and a market. Families will also have the opportunity to take part in a special photoshoot with Santa Claus.

The Christmas Night Drive will begin at 19:00 just as the sun begins to set. It will start in Carletonville and end in Fochville. Live location updates will be shared on social media so families can track Santa’s journey.

To let Santa know where to find the kids, families are also encouraged to let him know where they’ll be standing along the route. Everyone in Carletonville is invited to join in the fun. For more information call Chantelle on 082 544 1014.
