Little girl (3) injured during heartless attack on her father near Carletonville

This is one of many murders that have taken place in our local minibus-taxi industry.

The merciless killings in the local transport industry left a little girl traumatised and her father dead.

A three-year-old girl was injured by attackers who brutally murdered her father this week.

The incident took place in the 70s of Khutsong, Extension 5 on February 3.

A local taxi boss and member of the Carletonville United Taxi Association (CUTA) was busy inside his yard at approximately 19:00. His wife was outside their yard throwing away rubbish when she suddenly saw three unknown men approaching. She realised that there was something wrong, ran back home, and called to her husband to get away.

The thugs, however, stormed toward the yard and, without saying a word, started shooting at him.

The victim grabbed his three-year-old daughter, who was with him in the yard, and ran into the house.

The attackers, however, ran after them through the house and continued to shoot at him.

The little girl was injured in her right arm and leg while her father collapsed in a back room after being shot in his upper body and head.

He died at the scene.

The little girl was rushed to a hospital and was still being treated by printing time.

The police are investigating a murder case following this brutal crime.
