Herald team spreads warmth at Fochville Retirement Village on Mandela Day
The staff brought smiles and compassion.
Staff members of the Carletonville and Fochville Herald spent their Mandela Day giving back to the elderly at the SAVF Fochville Retirement Village.
On 18 July, the team visited the semi-frail wing of the facility, where they spent time with residents, bringing warmth and kindness in honour of the legacy of Nelson Mandela.
Among those present were Nursing Sister Jeanette Louwies, SAVF Fochville Retirement Village manager Lynette Eybers, Herald editor Adele Louw, advertising representative Rachel Nelson, and Nursing Sister Frieda Lottering.
