Elijah Barayi complex woman robbed at knifepoint during home invasion

The suspect stole money and a cellphone. Carletonville police are investigating.

A resident of the Elijah Barayi mega housing complex was kidnapped from her home this week.

According to a source, the incident took place on October 1.

The resident (47) was asleep in her home when an unknown man woke her up at approximately 01:00.

She jumped up and started to fight with the intruder.

During the course of the fight, the thug took out a knife, and the resident had no choice but to stop fighting.

She stayed in her room while he continued in the house.

Once he had left, the resident found that he had stolen money and a cellphone. Luckily, she was unharmed.
