Warriors Netball Club shines at Potchefstroom tournament, prepares for Pretoria fun day

Practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 17:00 at the Carletonville Tennis Court.

The Warriors Netball Club from Carletonville took part in a competition in a neighbouring town over the past weekend.

According to a spokesperson for the club, Joe Bosch, the Warriors took part in a tournament held at a fun day in Potchefstroom.

The Warriors did well during the day as they won two of their three matches.

They won NWU Staff 22–20 and CampusKey 22–9, but lost against Eduvos 9–22.

“The team is going to play at another fun day in Pretoria this coming weekend,” says Bosch.

She added that other players are still welcome to join the club.

The club welcomes both male and female players, aged 16 and older, with opportunities to play in men’s, women’s, and mixed teams.

Practices are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 17:00 at the Carletonville Tennis Court, located at 9 Calcite Crescent.

Players who are interested to join the club can contact Rochagne Nolan on 074 042 8520 for more information.
