Armed robbers attack Carletonville couple during late-night crime
A woman was attacked and robbed at her Protea Place home near Dolomite Drive after five armed men broke in during the early hours of October 23. Article:

This crime occurred on Thursday, October 23.
A woman (36) staying in a house in Protea Place wanted to go to the outside toilet at approximately 01:30. She was scared to go outside by herself, though, and asked her boyfriend to accompany her.
As the two of them opened the back door, five unknown masked men stormed in. The thugs spoke Sesotho and Afrikaans and were armed with firearms, a knife, and a crowbar.
They forced the woman and her boyfriend into the garage and tied them up.
They proceeded to the main house and grabbed cellphones, clothes and a plasma television set.

They also assaulted the woman with the crowbar, and she had to be rushed to Carletonville Hospital after they ran away.
Luckily, she was not seriously injured.
